TUNESday: "Of the Night" by Bastille

This isn't the first time British boy band BΔSTILLE has shown up on TUNESday. The last time was when they broke on to American charts with "Pompeii," the iconic chant driven hit that was voted one of the best songs of 2013. This time, they're poised to take over the charts with a mash-up of two songs that already conquered the 90's airwaves.

It's not often I like a song that reinvents a classic dance hit, much less two of them. "Of the Night" is an exception, taking "The Rhythm of the Night" and "Rhythm is a Dancer," slowing them down, blending the lyrics, and placing them on top of a great electronic beat. As it stands, the song would be a great addition to any workout playlist; however, I guarantee there's going to be an epic official club mix.

The surprisingly morbid music video for the new song is below. Be warned that while it's very well done, it is a little gory. The song is available for download on iTunes HERE.
