May 2015 Preview

Running a little late with the preview of races for the month of may. We already have one weekend of great events behind us, and I took full advantage. Great weather made it near impossible for me to stay inside and sit behind a computer. As I result, I spent two days on the Jazz Festival grounds, working the New Orleans Track Club's first race of the month, and spending a late night with the animals at Zoo-To-Do.

My recovery is complete, and I'm ready to tackle the next race in the Louisiana Bridge Run Series tomorrow morning. Check out the below list of events to see what's on the horizon, and plan your racing now.

Big Easy, Big Heart 5K (Saturday, May 2nd @ 8:00am) - Over 500 runners raced through the French Quarter for a really cool course that started on Canal Street and finished on Bourbon Street. The NOTC has a gallery of photos available here, and a fun video recap here.
